Chabad of West Houston, began its programing in the West Houston area with High Holiday Services and other educational programs with rented space at the JCC West Houston in September of 2005.
Serving West Houston and Katy area of Harris County, Texas, we offer a monthly shabbat experience, adult education classes, holiday programs, teen programs including the CHAI Club at Stratford High School, Chabad Hebrew School for Children, prayer services, chaplaincy at area hospitals, senior programs among other outreach activities.
Most programs take place at the Chabad of West Houston Center located at 12645 Whittington Drive.
Rabbi Dovid and Elisa Goldstein, along with our congregation, have created a very special, inclusive environment, where everyone feels comfortable, welcome, and loved. Chabad is a home for every kind of Jew regardless of their level of observance. We reject labels and focus on the fact that we are all Jewish and that is what matters most.
Chabad of West Houston, Inc., is continuing to expand our programming and we remain thankful to our supporters which have enabled us to continue to provide valuable programs to our community.
