Inspiring Jewish youth - the future of Judaism!

ABOUT US 3 Slider 2020.jpg
Judaism comes alive! The richness and beauty of our Jewish traditions vividly come to life at Chabad. Our dynamic programs and staff educate, stimulate and excite children and offer practical relevance. We believe that a child’s Jewish learning must be creative, memorable and fun. Beyond imparting typical textbook lessons, Chabad instructors share their own love and passion for Jewish life so our students don’t just love to learn about Judaism, they learn to love Judaism too!
Chabad Hebrew School of West Houston/Katy has a well-earned reputation as a trendsetter in creative Jewish education for children ages 4-13. We are proud of our achievements in the field of Jewish supplementary education. We think our program is the best Jewish experience your child can get in an after school setting. Imagine a Hebrew School where kids don’t want to miss a day? But don't take our word for it, come in and see our school in action!
ABOUT US philosophy 2 Slider 2020.jpg
Chabad Hebrew School of West Houston/Katy does not require any membership or prior affiliations as a condition for enrollment. We successfully cater to Jewish families from all walks of life, welcoming every Jew, regardless of religious background or level of observance. We want to offer all Jewish children an education and memories that will inspire them for a lifetime, making Hebrew school the beginning of Jewish learning, not the end.
OUR Curriculum Slider 2020.jpg
From Aleph-Bais and Hebrew literacy to bringing Jewish Holidays to life, our lessons are multi-sensory and hands-on. Students truly experience what they are being taught through an interactive classroom experience.
Chabad Hebrew School of West Houston/Katy uses the new, acclaimed  Aleph Champ program to ensure that your child will read fluently at the end of his/her Hebrew School experience.

Our students learn to read & write Hebrew.
They gain confidence and familiarity with the Siddur-Hebrew Prayer Book.

Study of the weekly Torah portion provides our students
with practical lessons that apply to their daily lives.

Our students will attain an affection for our heritage and the
uniqueness of our homeland Israel.

The students gain an appreciation of our heritage and culture that
has been preserved throughout the ages.

Traditions and celebrations, exploring the joy of
Jewish Holidays and Shabbat will provide a deeper
meaning for our students.

Beginning with the origins of the mitzvot,
stressing practical applications of good deeds in our daily lives,
our students will explore a personal Jewishness. Aleph Champ Banner.jpg
